TB-500 is a synthetic version of a region that is active in Thymosin Beta 4 and occurs naturally in the body. It is commonly known to promote quicker healing of wounds. Thymosin Beta 4 is essentially the parent peptide of TB-500. Thymosin Beta 4 is a peptide that consists of forty-three amino acids and has a molecular weight of 4,921 g/mol. Both Thymosin Beta 4 and TB-500 do the same thing. However, because of Thymosin Beta 4’s size, it is not commonly or easily produced. This makes TB-500 the better option because of the ease of manufacturing it.
